Spinach Pasta
Ingredients
● 1 medium onion, chopped
● 2 garlic cloves, chopped
● 1 canned tomato (processed)
● 1 tsp chilli powder
● 1⁄3 tsp pepper powder
● Salt to taste
● 1 tsp oregano
● 350 g chicken fillet
● 1⁄2 tsp garlic
● 1⁄3 tsp pepper powder
● 2 tbsp olive oil
● 1⁄2 packet fusilli pasta
● 1⁄2 tub reduced cream
● 1 packet Woolworths cream spinach
Method
1. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
2. Add the processed tomato, chilli powder, pepper, salt, and oregano. Let it simmer for 30
minutes.
3. Cook the chicken fillet with garlic, pepper, and olive oil.
4. Boil the pasta until al dente.
5. Mix the chicken into the pasta, add the spinach, tomato chutney, and gently toss in the
cream.
6. Transfer to a casserole dish, top with grated cheddar and mozzarella, and bake for
20–30 minutes until the cheese melts.
