
Butter Chicken Wings in the Air Fryer
Ingredients
For the Wings:
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
For the Butter Chicken Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ cup fresh cream
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh coriander (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Preparing the Wings:
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with all the spices, lemon juice, and oil. Mix well to ensure the wings are evenly coated.
- Let the wings marinate for at least 1 hour for maximum flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25 minutes.
- Flip the wings and continue cooking for an additional 6-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
Making the Butter Chicken Sauce:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the crushed garlic, tomato paste, and paprika. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the fresh cream and let it simmer gently, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Finish by adding freshly chopped coriander.
Assembling the Dish:
- Place the cooked wings in a serving bowl.
- Pour the warm butter chicken sauce over the wings, ensuring they are well coated.
- Garnish with additional coriander if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
