Saucy Prawns – A Perfect Addition to Your Eid Lunch!
Ingredients
For the Prawns:
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 3 tsp fine garlic
- 3 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tsp Chohan’s seafood masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh lemon juice
For the Sauce:
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tbsp Steers Peri Peri sauce
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard sauce
- ½ cup fresh cream
Instructions
Preparing the Prawns:
- In a bowl, mix the prawns with oil, lemon pepper, coriander powder, fine garlic, crushed garlic, seafood masala, salt, and lemon juice.
- Allow the prawns to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and cook the prawns until they turn golden and are fully cooked.
Preparing the Sauce:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, tomato paste, Steers Peri Peri sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard sauce, and fresh cream until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked prawns and let it simmer for a few minutes, ensuring the prawns are well coated and heated through.
Serving:
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve immediately.
