Saucy Prawns – A Perfect Addition to Your Eid Lunch!

Ingredients

For the Prawns:
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 3 tsp fine garlic
  • 3 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp Chohan’s seafood masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice
For the Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp Steers Peri Peri sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  • ½ cup fresh cream

Instructions

Preparing the Prawns:

  1. In a bowl, mix the prawns with oil, lemon pepper, coriander powder, fine garlic, crushed garlic, seafood masala, salt, and lemon juice.
  2. Allow the prawns to marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and cook the prawns until they turn golden and are fully cooked.

Preparing the Sauce:

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, tomato paste, Steers Peri Peri sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard sauce, and fresh cream until smooth.
  2. Pour the sauce over the cooked prawns and let it simmer for a few minutes, ensuring the prawns are well coated and heated through.

Serving:

  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve immediately.
