Spinach Pie
Ingredients
Chicken Filling:
● 2 cups cooked chicken
● 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
● 1 tsp Chohans green chilli paste
● 1⁄2 tsp garlic flakes
● 1 tsp chicken spice
● 1⁄2 tsp salt
● 1⁄4 tsp pepper
● 2 tbsp saigo (mixed with water)
Spinach Filling:
● 1⁄2 chopped onion
● Garlic
● 1⁄4 tsp green chilli paste
● 1⁄4 tsp salt
● 2 cups chopped spinach
Dough:
● 2 cups flour
● 4 tsp baking powder
● 1⁄4 tsp salt
● 125g butter
● 3⁄4 cup milk
Method
1. Prepare the chicken and spinach fillings separately.
2. Mix the dough and divide it into two portions.
3. Roll out one portion, add the fillings, and cover with the second layer of dough.
4. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds.
5. Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.
