Lamb Karahi
Ingredients
● 2 kg mutton (leg)
● 2 tablespoons ginger
● 2 teaspoons salt
● 2 onions (cut and sliced)
● 2 tablespoons vinegar
● 2 teaspoons chilli powder
● 2 teaspoons dhania powder
● 1 teaspoon haldi powder
● 3 tomatoes, chopped
● 2 tablespoons water
● 2 cinnamon sticks
Method
1. In a large pot, braise the onions and cinnamon sticks in a little oil.
2. Add the washed and cut meat, ginger, garlic, and vinegar. Cook on high heat.
3. Once the meat softens, add spices and water. Let it cook further.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and allow it to cook thoroughly.
5. Garnish with fresh dhania.
Best served with roti!
