Chicken Curry
Ingredients
● 1 chicken, cut into pieces
● 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
● 1⁄2 tsp garlic
● 2–3 tsp Chilli powder
● 1 tsp crushed chillies
● 1⁄2 tsp urad
● 1⁄2 tsp red chilli paste (optional)
● 11⁄2 tsp dhania jeera powder
● 1⁄4 tsp white pepper
● 1 tsp salt
● 2 tbsp ghee and oil
● 1 tsp whole jeera
● Whole pepper, cloves, elachi, cinnamon sticks
● 1⁄2 cup fried onions
● 1 canned tomato or 3 Roma tomatoes, processed
● 1⁄3 cup tomato purée
Method
1. Braise the chicken with the spices.
2. Add the processed tomatoes and purée.
3. Simmer with water until chicken is cooked.
